Breaking: Brittany Mahomes is pregnant! Patrick and Brittany Mahomes Are Expecting Baby No. 3: ‘Round Three, Here We Come’
The couple is already parents to daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 18 months.
The Kansas City Current co-owner, 28, announced in a joint Instagram Reels on Friday, July 12, that she and her Kansas City Chiefs quarterback husband Patrick Mahomes, 28, are expecting their third baby together.
The couple shared an adorable video of themselves with their daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 18 months, having a photo shoot in all-white outfits, as they smile, laugh and dance around with sonograms.
“Round three, here we come 🤍,” the soon-to-be parents of three captioned the Reel.
Patrick and Brittany began dating as teenagers when he was a sophomore and she was a junior at Whitehouse High School in Texas.
During a 2020 interview with Today, Patrick reflected on the early days of his relationship with Brittany, describing himself as “just a normal teenage kid showing up at the family dinner type stuff and being nervous and everything.”
Following his Super Bowl ring ceremony in September 2020, Patrick proposed to Brittany in front of a floral wall with a neon light that read “Will You Marry Me?”
Later that same month, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. Their daughter Sterling Skye was born in February 2021.
On March 12, 2022, Patrick and Brittany finally said “I do” after 10 years of dating during a private ceremony held in Maui, Hawaii.
Later that year, the couple announced they were expanding their family with baby No. 2 in a joint Instagram post. Their second baby, son Bronze, was born in November 2022.
This past May, Patrick raved about Brittany as a mom when he appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.
Discussing the host’s recent announcement that he and his fianceé Nina Agdal are expecting their first baby, Patrick spoke about his own family life — and showered his wife of two years with compliments.
The Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback said, “I think people don’t even realize how much she does.”
“Taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so where I can focus on football, focus on my craft and everything like that,” he continued. “Just being a hall of fame mom and a hall of fame wife.”
“It makes things a lot easier … when you get to come home and your best friend is there. You can just hang out. It makes you want to be there all the time and so, she pushes me to be great,” Patrick added. “She’s done a lot of great things herself.”
